Video Transcript
Hello, welcome to TopUp Learning and welcome to your one minute lesson. Today we’re looking at the future continuous, but when do we use the future continuous?
Well, it’s used to talk about an action in progress at a future point in time. For example, we will be eating lunch at 2pm. Am I talking about the past or the future?
The future.
Do we start eating lunch before 2pm?
Yes.
Are we still eating lunch after 2pm?
Yes.
So, is this action in progress at 2.00pm?
Yes.
Lets look at the form. For a positive sentence, it’s subject whether it’s I/You/He/She/It/They/We + will +be + present participle. For the negative, it’s subject + will + not + be + present participle. For a question, it’s Will + subject + be + present participle.
